Willows Shopping Town

Willows Shoppingtown is Thuringowa's premier shopping centre, with 85 retailers including Woolworths, Coles, Target and Crazy Clarks, as well as a wide range of specialty stores. The centre offers easy under cover parking and regular entertainment and events. Willows Shoppingtown is open seven days a week for your convenience. If you love great shopping for unusual gifts, new fashion and exciting foods, then Willows Shoppingtown is the place for you!

Each Sunday, the car park comes alive with the Willows Weekend Markets. Willows Sunday Markets offers local residents and tourists an opportunity to purchase fresh produce, arts and crafts, freshly baked goodies and much more. The markets currently hosts over 140 stallholders, and has fast become one of Thuringowa's most popular weekend events run by the local Rotary Club. The Markets are designed to be mostly a hobbyist markets, and are less commercialised than most. The markets operate from 8am to 12.30pm, most Sundays in the year (weather permitting).

Cannon Park

Opposite Willows Shoppingtown, you'll find more shopping and retail opportunities at Cannon Park, on Hervey's Range Road. Cannon Park is Thuringowa's hospitality precinct, home to a wide range of cafes and restaurants. From fine dining and classy cafes, to eateries and pubs - Cannon Park has something to offer everyone. Cannon Park is also home to a games arcade and Reading Cinemas, a 6 screen cinema complex that is sure to entertain. Cannon Park is a great place to meet up with friends and to sample some of the fine cuisine that Thuringowa has to offer.

Kirwan Traders

The Kirwan Traders retail precinct is located along Thuringowa Drive, and is bordered by Tavern, Toohey and Burnda Streets in Thuringowa Central. The Kirwan Traders precinct is made up of a wide selection of varying retail operators and service providers, from eateries and cafes to hairdressers, florists, gift shops and much more.

Sunland Plaza

Located adjacent to Cannon Park, Sunland Plaza is another of Thuringowa's major retail hubs, and includes Walter's Supa IGA as well as a number of specialty stores.

Riverway Village

Still to be completed, the Riverway shopping and retail precinct, also known as Riverway Village, will link up with the existing the retail centres of Willows Shoppingtown, Sunland Plaza and Cannon Park. The Riverway Village will complement other stages of the Riverway project, including Pioneer Park. Riverway Village is designed to give Thuringowa a sustainable, contemporary and thriving city centre, based on the lush waterfront of the Ross River.

Once completed, the Riverway Village will be a microcosm of entertainment ranging from alfresco restaurants to water sports, street theatre and a multitude of retail shops and boutique stores. The Riverway Village will encompass a unique mix of stores, carefully placed to complement each other and fulfil every need. From the day-to-day necessities of local residents, to leading edge fashion, homewares and lifestyle stores, Riverway Village will have it all. What's more, the innovative fresh food marketplace will be a regional drawcard promoting North Queensland's fresh produce.
