Riverway Arts Centre

The Riverway Arts Centre features a 380-seat flexible performance space doubling as a function room, the Pinnacles Art Gallery, rehearsal space, meeting room and working spaces for resident art groups. A grassed outdoor amphitheatre rises from the landscape, forming the sloping roof of the Arts Centre, and the gardens surrounding the centre are home to a number of public artworks. With a wide variety of shows, performances and exhibitions year round, the Riverway Arts Centre really is the cultural hub of Thuringowa.
Pinnacles Gallery

Part of the Riverway Arts Centre, the Pinnacles Gallery is a contemporary art gallery showcasing all aspects of visual arts for the community. The gallery features local, state and national artists in exhibitions across all themes and media. With a range of high quality exhibitions the year round, Pinnacles Gallery is a must see for any visitor to the Riverway Precinct. Thuringowa Library

The newly redeveloped Thuringowa Library offers a range of facilities for locals and visitors alike. A huge range of books, including volumes on the local history of the area, are available, and internet access is also provided. The library often hosts a number of local art exhibitions, and also has a new cafe, so you can enjoy cappuccino and cake while you curl up with a book or enjoy the local arts.
Paluma Pottery

Nestled in the tranquil rainforest village of Paluma, approximately 65km north of Thuringowa Central, Paluma Pottery is the studio and gallery of the nationally acclaimed potter Len Cook. This quaint shop in Lennox Crescent is where Len produces and sells his award winning works, from handcrafted domestic ware, coral reef inspired sculptures and one off wood fired pieces of art that are sure to be a unique memento of your visit to Paluma. Paluma Pottery will capture you imagination, and is definitely worth a visit.
Forestmist Cottage Arts and Crafts

Forestmist Cottage is home to a small yet charming arts and crafts shop. Offering a range of items from local arts and crafts to jewellery, dolls and distinctive gift items, you will be sure to find something unique for yourself, or for somebody special.
